I use Suricata for Windows servers, but it uses a lot of memory and disk space on my servers. When I try to configure it based on the documentation, the adjustments don't work. I'm thinking about replacing it with snort, what do you say?

There is just a few points that I needed clarity. 1. was the "advanced" version of session management of WordPress, that you suggested in the tutorial. 2. the hardening of WordPress through SSL, etc. 3. additional scalability/performance options like utilising Redis, etc.

if you don''t have the team and the business to handle Kubernetes its not worth it 90% of the time. we tend to over engineer with Kubernetes to me k3s,k0s is still and all the variants are still a beast..but if you need alot of things in kubernetees, you are better of with a managed kubernetees AKS and GKE at least then you reduce your own load instead of rolling your own. but if you want simplicity nomad,docker-compose are fine in a roll your own scenario

UNIX (all caps) is a Trademark. (tm) Calling something "UNIX" requires passing OpenGroup certification. No current GNU/Linux implementation that I know of is certified as UNIX. It is even in the name: GNU's NOT UNIX = GNU!! Linux is just the kernel. Most GNU/Linux systems are barely even Unix-like these days. There have only been 2 or 3 GNU/Linux systems EVER certified and I think the last one of those died out some 10 or 12 years ago. Calling something "Modern UNIX" when you do not even seem to work for OpenGroup or help maintain the POSIX standards is dubious at best. On top of if, the focus of Linode is "Linux", which does not even follow the Unix Philosophy anymore! I mean seriously, which UNIX (tm) systems does your "Modern UNIX (sic) fd command" ship with? Oh, it is only in GNU/Linux package repos and a ports collection or two? Hubris. *find* IS UNIX - it is part of the POSIX / UNIX (tm) standards and has been for decades. fd (as a command) is NOT UNIX and not part of any POSIX standard I am familiar with. ... false, fc, fg, file, *find*, fold, fort77, fuser ... No "fd" in there, huh? Worse yet, "fd" generally refers to FILE DESCRIPTORS in Unix, so way to add to the confusion! I will stick to stuff I can be certain to be on the literally hundreds of UNIX (tm) and Unix-like systems (maybe 1,000 or more) I have managed over the last 30 or 40 years. "Modern DEVELOPERS" would be better served learning how to use existing tools properly before reinventing the wheel every 30 minutes. We can started with elementary shell scripting (not "bash") and proper vi usage (not "vim") and go from there. I literally teach classes on this "COMP SCI 101" stuff for a reason. "find" has done the job since around 1971. Can it be improved? Yes. But the real POSIX / UNIX(tm) *find* (and the relevant standards) is still in use and *being updated* over 50 years later. How many of these toys do you expect to be around for that long? Thanks anyway. Sorry for the rant, but I will take an intern who can send a basic find result and pass it through a regex and while loop or something (as intended) over some "rockstar" who requires a bunch of toys to even attempt a simple job any day.

CiCd shows how broken IT industry is. Imagine buying a new car and being called for mechanical tweaks on a weekly basis. You would get rid of that car and forget about this manufacturer. Yet this same principle, endless tweaking is hailed as desired in the IT industry. CI CD shows that you are not confident in your product quality and constant tweaks show that you have bad programmers. Good product is well designed and works without bugs, no need for constant change. I have been involved in CI CD environments and it was nightmare every single time.
